From the Main Headings Retrieved page in any of the databases, you can use the Toolbar to refine your original search, to open a context-sensitive Help page and to consult general information about Historical Newspapers.
The Main Headings Retrieved page indicates the number of headings in the database containing the search term or expression.
Each item in the Main Headings Retrieved page contains the following information:
From the Main Headings Retrieved page, you can move to the Index Entries Selected page for a particular Main Heading, or particular Main Headings, in three ways.
To view the Index Entries Selected page for a single Main Heading:
To view the Index Entries Selected page for multiple Main Headings:
To view the Index Entries Selected page for all Main Headings in the Main Headings Retrieved page:
If you have customised your search results to display the entries retrieved in the form of subsets, you can move back and forth between subsets using the Next and Previous buttons. Using the boxes provided next to these buttons, you can also modify the number of items you wish to display in the next or previous subset and, in addition, the Main Headings Retrieved entry number at which you would like the next or previous subset to start.
